Driving lessons in Macquarie Fields
Most of our students sit their test around Macquarie Fields, so we train right on the roads examiners use most. You'll know every roundabout, school zone and give-way before test day.
What we practise on the Macquarie Fields test route
- Roundabouts and multi-lane approaches along Victoria Road and Harold Street
- 40 km/h school zones and pedestrian crossings near local schools
- Reverse parallel parking and kerb-side stops on quiet residential streets
- Merging and lane changes on Campbelltown Road and Hume Highway approaches
Tips to pass in Macquarie Fields
- Watch for sudden speed limit changes between 50 and 60 km/h.
- Do clear head checks before every lane change; examiners look for them.
- Practise three-point turns in narrow cul-de-sacs.
Why we choose these test routes
Why we train on the Macquarie Fields test route
Why we test here: most of our students sit their test in this area, so we know exactly which roads examiners use and where learners commonly lose marks.
Chosen for pass ratio
We train where our students pass most. If an area is consistently harder for learners, we don't send you there to find out the hard way.
You learn the exact roads
Roundabouts, school zones, merges and parking spots are practised on the roads examiners actually drive you down, not on random streets.
We know the common traps
Driving the same three areas over and over tells us what catches learners out, so we fix those habits before your test date.
Test day feels like a lesson
You've already driven those roads with us, so you can concentrate on your driving instead of guessing which turn is coming next.

Questions people ask
Why does REVA focus on Macquarie Fields, Edmondson Park and Minto?
Because those are the test areas where our students pass most often. We build every lesson around the roads examiners actually use there, so you practise the roundabouts, school zones and manoeuvres you will be tested on.
Is the $40 per hour rate for everyone?
No — the $40 per hour rate is a special offer for students only, and it covers your first 2 lessons. Everyone else pays the standard $59 per hour, which still includes pick-up and drop-off.
Can I learn in my own suburb instead?
Yes. We pick you up in your own suburb and teach car control, traffic lights, roundabouts and parking near your home. Once you are test-ready we move you onto the Macquarie Fields, Edmondson Park or Minto routes.
Will you tell me exactly which route my test will take?
No instructor can know the examiner's route in advance. What we do is train you on every road, intersection and manoeuvre used in the area, so whichever route the examiner picks is one you have already driven.
How many lessons do I need before I am ready for a test?
It depends on your experience. We assess you during your first two lessons — $40/hr if you are a student, otherwise $59/hr — and give you an honest estimate of what it will take to be test-ready.
Can I use your car for my driving test?
Yes. From $179 we pick you up, give you a warm-up drive on the test route, and you use our dual-control car for the test itself.
